Elicit Systematic Review now supports PRISMA 2020 guidelines

We’re excited to announce that Elicit Systematic Reviews now support PRISMA 2020 guidelines. We've been adding a lot of features over the last few months and you can now:

• Search, screen, and extract from up to 40,000 papers in real-time

• Search across multiple databases: PubMed, Clinicaltrials.gov, our 138 million paper corpus, and import your own searches

• Combine search strategies using keyword, MeSH, or semantic search

• Perfectly reproduce keyword searches

• Screen abstracts and full-texts

• Track decisions & exclusion reasons

• Autogenerate PRISMA diagrams

• Create custom report templates

• Have dual review for screening

• Run reviews programmatically via API

We also improved our screening and extraction performance. Against a benchmark of 108 published Cochrane reviews, our system scored up to 99.5% screening sensitivity and 95% extraction accuracy. Learn more about the new systematic review features and our evaluation methodology on our blog.

Upgrades to Elicit Systematic Review and the Systematic Review API are immediately available to Enterprise customers. Existing Scale users and new Scale users who sign up by June 6, 2026 will receive one free trial enhanced review.
