Based on your feedback, we made a few improvements this week to make [Elicit Notebooks](/content/?utm_source=email&utm_campaign=ntbks-delete/index.html) easier to use. You can now:

1. Delete Notebook steps  
2. Edit the query of any Notebook step

**How to delete a Notebook step**  
To the top left of each step, you'll see a trash can. If you click into that, you can see the option to delete a step.  
Note that you can't recover the step once it's been deleted without running it again from scratch.

**How to edit your queries**  
You can edit queries for **Find papers** and **List of concepts** steps. Just click into the query and type in a new one!  
Now you can update queries based on the results without having to add a step each time and cluttering your notebook. If you just want to run lots of queries and quickly see the results, you can do that without having to create a new notebook for each query.
